Dr. Steven P. Harrell joined the practice in 2008.  He graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina with an engineering degree prior to earning his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his clinical training at the University of Louisville, where he completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowships in Gastroenterology & Hepatology.  Dr. Harrell is board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Dr. Harrell received a Masters in Public Health during his Gastroenterology Fellowship and was selected Chief Fellow of his fellowship program. He has publications in several GI medical journals including the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, Digestive Diseases and Sciences, and Laryngoscope.

He is married and has three young sons. He enjoys walking, reading, outdoor activities and spending time with his family during his free time.
