Josh Wedding, PA-C, is a dedicated and compassionate physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology. His path in healthcare began with a strong academic foundation, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Berea College in 2015. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of the Cumberlands Northern Kentucky Campus in January 2024, where he conducted a capstone project exploring the role of intermittent fasting in managing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Josh brings a wealth of clinical experience to his role, having completed rotations in diverse medical settings including family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, pediatrics, and women’s health. These experiences allowed him to refine a well-rounded and patient-centered approach to care, with a growing focus on the digestive health challenges that impact patients’ quality of life. His clinical training included hands-on experience in hospitalist medicine and critical care, helping him develop a thorough, detail-oriented approach to diagnosing and managing complex conditions.

Known for his approachable demeanor, clinical precision, and deep commitment to patient education, Josh strives to empower individuals to take an active role in their gastrointestinal health. His blend of clinical expertise and heartfelt care makes him a valued member of the Gastroenterology Health Partners team and a trusted provider for his patients.

Outside of his clinical work, Josh is a devoted husband and proud father of two. He enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors with his family and their dog, Tucky. A lifelong soccer fan, he follows both Tottenham Hotspur and Louisville City FC.
