John Steen, PA-C, is a compassionate and highly trained physician assistant. His journey in medicine is rooted in a strong academic foundation, earning his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) from the University of the Cumberlands in March 2024, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Microbiology from Indiana University Southeast.
Throughout his clinical training, John gained broad and hands-on experience across a wide range of medical specialties including emergency medicine, internal medicine, general surgery, cardiology, psychiatry, and women’s health. Prior to becoming a PA, he served as both an Emergency Room Technician and a Surgical Services Assistant, roles that helped refine his procedural skill set and deepen his commitment to patient-centered care.
John is known for his calm demeanor, attention to detail, and warm approach to patient care. He is deeply committed to building trust with his patients and empowering them with the information and support they need to take charge of their digestive health.
Outside of the office, John enjoys spending time in nature and cherishes moments with his family. His clinical acumen and genuine care for patients make him a valued addition to the team at Gastroenterology Health Partners.
