Dr. McCollough

Dr. Matthew D. McCollough joined the practice in 2010. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2003. Dr. McCollough continued his clinical training at the University of Louisville where he completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine. After serving one year as Chief Medical Resident, Dr. McCollough completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology serving as Chief Fellow his final year. Dr. McCollough completed board certification in Internal Medicine in 2006 and Gastroenterology/Hepatology certification in 2010. He treats all gastrointestinal and liver diseases and is actively involved in clinical research.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, exercising, working outdoors, and most sports.
